nice, real nice! I loved the first version so much so I am sure I’ll love this one too. I love how you wrote Tina in the story. The way you wrote her somewhat aggressive, so sure of herself and dare I say, SMUG when she got Bette, then got her prego was the one of the best Tina’s I’ve read. I love your writing!

Bette was so happy sometimes she wondered if she were dreaming. She had the love of her life and since she ended her relationship with Jodi they were truly free to be together. They were together with their daughter and they were almost under one roof. Right now they were under two roofs but under the same one on any given night. As much as they tried to take it slow at the end of the day, or night, more accurately, they were unable to separate.
Bette found that she did indeed like the West Side. Tina was right the air was cleaner and traffic lighter. They spent more than one evening at the beach on nights that they stayed at Tina’s. The beach did trump her pool the only thing it lacked was the level of privacy she preferred. They had just finished dinner alfresco and Bette watched Tina and Angie build a sand village. Angelica was fond of many houses not just one castle, a reflection of her life.
“T, what about a beach house?” Bette felt herself stumble on the answer.
Tina looked at her quickly, “I think that is an excellent idea.” She nodded her head further emphasizing her approval.
Bette drunk in the excitement she saw in the hazel depths. Easy pleasure, she thought. Tina gave her pure easy pleasure just being with her.
“So should I enlist an agent to look for something for us?” She continued tentatively.
“Why not?” Tina was puzzled by the hesitancy.
“Just checking” Bette returned. “By the way how many bedrooms are we talking? Four?”
“Four” Tina balked. “We don’t need that many bedrooms…” The answer suddenly dawned on her. Bette was asking again if she wanted another child. “How many more babies are you thinking of?”
